Is it just me or is summer passing us by at warp speed?  We have been very busy with our family vacation, weddings, weddings and more weddings, family sessions, sweet little newborn sessions and or course children's sessions.  There is still plenty of time to capture those great moments before the kids go back to school.  Below are some specials I am running - click on the image to make it larger.

 

 

 

 

Can you believe the Holidays are just around the corner and will be here before we know it.  Sessions are in full swing - And in sticking with my style of photography I will NOT be using a lot of props again this year. I love the simplicity of clean and classic - Timeless images. You don't want images that you can only show off or hang up 2 months out of the year - You want timeless images that will be shown all year round and for generations to come. Anyone who schedules their Christmas Session for August will receive a 20% discount on all prints and products, Anyone who schedules their Christmas Session in September will receive 15% discount on all prints and products, and anyone who schedules their Christmas session in October will receive 10% discount on all prints and products. 

CHILDRENS PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY | KENTUCKY, OHIO, WEST VIRGINIA

Twins!?  Double the trouble?  Double the fun?  Double the mischief? Double the work?  Probably a little  of each but for me they are fascinating to photograph.  Each child has a very distinct personality but yet they are so in touch with each other that they know what the other is about to say.  Here is a little sneak peek for Megan...

KENTUCKY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

What a great wedding season it has been so far.  Allison and Adam recently became Mr. and Mrs. Cook and I can't tell you how excited I was to be there to capture their day.  Allison and Adam were absolute dream clients - they completely trusted my creative judgment and were game for everything I suggested.  Because of this we were able to capture some amazing images!  Without further ado - Mr and Mrs Adam Cook...

Basic Photography Class | Ashland, KY

The photography class I offered is now complete and I am pleased with the results.  The students were fabulous and I feel that they left with a sense of how to create better images with their camera and the  natural light that is so flattering to portraits.  Girls please keep in touch and continue to share your images - I would love to see them.  Thanks to all that participated; I am hoping to do this again next year.

Oh My Dearest BLOG, 

I have been so busy working on other creative projects that I have neglected you. I appreciate your patience and understanding and when you see all my new posts you will understand what has been so important that I ignored you.  I have been busy working on the new website design that will launch soon as well as our new offerings for 2011 Weddings.  So between that and my proofing, editing and designing that did not leave much time for blogging.  But I promise in the future to love you, honor you and cherish you til carpal tunnel do us part.  Thank you for allowing me to update several posts and set them to a time - I will be taking full advantage of that in the future.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AND A HOLIDAY WEEKEND | KENTUCKY

As I sit at my computer putting the last touches of editing on Lauren and Matt's wedding portraits I find myself getting a little sentimental.  Sentimental because we are half way through 2010 and I could not have imagined a better year with better clients. Or am I sentimental because I get to meet these fabulous couples, we spend quite a bit of time planning engagement sessions and wedding portraits then they go off and get married and I never see them anymore? Ok that's an exaggeration.  Maybe I am being sentimental because my youngest has been away from home all week and I am missing her deeply.  Or maybe it is because I just realized my wine bottle is empty.  Maybe it is because this is a Holiday weekend and I am thankful to have my husband and kids home this weekend to hang out and do nothing.  Whatever it is I want you to know that this is not just a job to me - This is a love.  A passion!  A career choice that I take very seriously.  Thank you to ALL my clients from newborns to newly married; thank you for allowing me to capture these moments of your life.  Now back to that amazing couple Lauren and Matt:
